| The MONA is an on-line attachment that operates
in conjunction with duplicator size presses such as the AB Dick,
Multilith, Hamada, Ryobi, and Itek. The old adage "Seeing is
believing" applies very well to all the operations made possible
            with this system.

Most of the usual jobs, such as NCR pre-collated sets, tickets or
tags, pegboard, laser and personal checks and standard multiple part
forms can now be printed, numbered, perforated and/or crash
imprinted in one pass through the press. Slitting, scoring,
and letterpress imprinting a second color is also possible. The past
headaches and time delays because of outside production are
eliminated and shop costs are substantially reduced.
 In fact, the MONA
system makes possible and expansion for services for many printing
businesses. One press with a MONA attachment can now be almost a
complete shop or plant. The system is ideally suited for the
quick-print and in house print shops as well as commercial and
business forms companies. It offers simultaneous capabilities
in place of the two, three, or more operations presently required in
            many of the print shops.

             The
MONA becomes a permanent addition to the previously mentioned
presses. The press  can be used as a conventional press, with chain
delivery, in the event that none of the capabilities of the MONA
system are required for a particular  job. It’s as simple as
flipping one switch to the off position. The MONA has it’s own
chain delivery,  joggers, and receding stacker. The system comes
with a complete inking unit that swings away for make-ready purposes
or resetting numbers. The system is very sound mechanically,
virtually  maintenance free and more than satisfies the printer’s
need for easy and fast make-ready.    |
